A little bit about us.Abby Ventzke Higginson
Founder and President
Abby is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in English. She moved to Los Angeles soon after graduating and spent the next 20 years working in magazine publishing and operations management. A change of fate led her into bookkeeping and accounting. She began studying accounting and transitioned to working in the field full time while going on to graduate with an academic Certificate in Accounting from UCLA Extension.
Tom Ventzke, MBA
Vice President
Tom brings an extensive educational and business back ground to VH Works earning an MBA from Cal State San Marcos along with a consulting degree in Industrial Organization Psychology from the University of West Virginia. He spent 25 years working for the financial arm of General Motors, GMAC, as an auditor and manager in their insurance division. Tom held corporate positions in New Jersey, Chicago and San Diego while the company transformed from GMAC to its current form as Ally Financial (parent company of Ally Bank). Officially retiring from Ally Financial, Tom has joined his sister Abby at VH Works and offers a wealth of analytical and forecasting experience to their clients.
